As of 2018 Energy Smart media transitioned to a traditional digital media agency, offering lead generation services and industry-specific advice pertaining to sales and operational excellence.
Role Purpose
This is a business to business (B2B) sales role. In your role as Sales Opener, you will be responsible for booking phone appointments for our inbound sales team. You will be committed to meeting and exceeding sales targets and Key Performance Indicators as directed by management and stated in your Weekly Commission Structure. You will also continually update your sales knowledge and skillset and stay informed about the targeted industry.
You are required to make no less than 300 phone calls, 25 LinkedIn connection requests, and at least 5 relevant conversations on a social platform each day. All client interaction must abide by the company's sales script and your customer interaction must be done in a professional and courteous manner that meets and exceeds customer expectations in line with Energy Smart’s strategies and objectives

About The Job:
- Conduct warm and cold sales calls to potential clients as per the existing client list
- Conduct cold calls to prospective/new clients
- Follow up on warm leads generated by the company
- Persuade and influence customers educating them on the benefits of the leads provided
- Provide accurate lead information in response to customers questions
- Listen to and confirm the customer’s requirements in relation to leads provided
- Ensure that the company's sales script is followed at all times
- Book call back appointments for our inbound sales team
- Complete and submit sales statistics reports as set by management
- Asses and update client lists to maintain currency and accuracy
- Review and update pre-qualified lead lists to ensure accuracy
- Ensure that each appointment is recorded within iClose as outlined in your training portal.
- Ensure that any appointment booked meets the qualification criteria as set by management
- Make no less than 300 phone calls per day

Desirable
- Experience in sales, phone sales, call center sales.
- Solar energy industry experience desirable but not mandatory.
